Meet your cobeat Instructor + Choreographer: Anupama
Anupama brings nearly 20 years of experience in dance, having trained in a wide range of styles. Growing up in Mumbai, she began her dance education with Bharatanatyam under Smt. Asha Sunilkumar at Sanskriti Academy of Fine Arts, completing her Arangetram in 2011. Over the past five years, she expanded her skills to include Bollywood, Hip-Hop, Commercial, and Jazz.
She has performed with a Bharatanatyam troupe across India, competed in prestigious competitions, and won multiple titles as part of dance crews and theater productions. Since moving to the UK, she’s trained intensively with industry experts and refined her technique under cobeat founder, Krupali.
When she’s not dancing, Anupama works as a Senior Service Designer in Public Health, with a deep belief in the power of empathy, community, and storytelling.
